Coffee Alternative Recipe

If you guessed coffee ☕️ you'd be right! It was decaf, it was a clean brand & I drank it after eating breakfast.

I drank it about 3-4 days a week for 2 weeks. My gut/stomach was a mess into week 2.

If you don't know I talk about coffee and its negative effects on the gut, hormones and mood, and not just caffeinated.  That's the obvious culprit to these issues & especially anxiety. 

I've done posts on this.  I understand it's not a fun fat & often a trigger for many.  But I can tell you if you remain open, it will make a huge impact on your health.  Especially in your in perimenopause/midlife, have anxiety, gut & hormone issues.

Here's my coffee alternative recipe I've drank for the last 6 years & has allowed me to not miss coffee.

Organic ground chicory root steeped like coffee or tea.  I like to add some herbal loose teas like rose petals & others.  In my HC course I have the girls use their healing blend. (Part of the course & for their health needs).  A healing drink that also tastes like if coffee & hot chocolate had a baby.
Use an unsweetened nut milk — I like unsweetened organic coconut milk. Even froth if you like.  Add pure monk fruit sugar if you like sweet. Cinnamon or pumpkin spice for warm twist☕️

BONUS: Chicory is also a natural prebiotic.  So it’s very healthy for your gut, skin & overall health.

It’ll take a short time to turn this into your new ritual but not long.  Your body (& peaceful mind) will thank you.
